Bakaliko~ A Virtual Greek Wine Tasting 

Join us, along with Eklektikon and Greek Wine School, for a virtual gathering to learn about Greek wines! On this evening we’ll celebrate and honor the tradition of the bakaliko, a neighborhood social hub where people gather, drink wine, eat mezze, and enjoy lively conversation. Wine has been part of Greek culture for millennia, and gathering over wine and food is one of the most quintessentially Greek ways of coming together.

The event will be equal parts informational, experiential, and social.  You’ll also have the chance to ask our wine experts from Eklektikon and Greek Wine School some questions. = Expect a discussion by Greek wine experts on several Greek wines, suggested food pairings, and a bit of a history lesson along the way. Of course, this will also be social, and expect to say geia mas (cheers) a time or two while enjoying the safe, socially distanced company of fellow wine lovers! This will be fun and casual.
